A command line program to calculate subnet numbers.
Usage: netmask ip-address netmask-ip or netmask ip-address netmask-bits
For example, when run as netmask 192.168.0.70 26 the output is:
IP address 192.168.0.70 Netmask 255.255.255.192 Netmask bits 26 Network 192.168.0.64 Broadcast 192.168.0.127 Hosts 192.168.0.65 to 192.168.0.126 Host count 62
This program has only been tested under Linux.
Download the source code. To compile, just do make netmask. There is no Makefile.
Download a pre-compiled binary for i386 Linux with glibc.
